Ages 6+ 9am - 3pm 15 Spaces only each day. Dates to be posted for each holiday session. Fee is $80/day or Work and relax in a creative environment. Different Art and craft activities will be on offer each day. Activities are for all ages, so even if you don't need a carer come along and spend a day or week creatively. BYO Snack food, Lunch and water bottle.

Competition nights will been announced on the web page of the term. Anyone can enter! Criteria and medium will be set and identical for all participants. A time will be allocated for the artwork to be completed. Guest judges ruling id final. Peoples choice votes will be made in studio and on the webpage. Prizes will be listed prior to the event.

Instructors

Deborah Carlyon is an award winning Australian Author. Her first book, Mama Kuma: One woman, two cultures, was an authorised biography about her Papua New Guinean grandmother. It won the Queensland Premier’s Literary Award for Best Emerging Author in 2001. Subsequently Deborah was awarded an Australian Medal for contribution to Australian Literature for ‘Mama Kuma’ before the book enjoyed subsequent print runs.
Her second book, Loku and the shark attack, was shortlisted for the Patricia Wrightson Award in 2007. It has also enjoyed international publications in China and recently in 2015 become an ebook due to popular demand. Deborah was one of twenty-seven Australian Authors selected to write a chapter in Joyful Strains which was released on Australia Day in 2013. Deborah lives on the Sunshine Coast and is presently writing a series of short stories.
