ABOUT
Luci Morris
Artist - director - teacher - mentor
My name is Luci Morris, I am the director and principle educator at TinCanvas or The Tin Can Visual Art School.
I am a single Mum of three very talented and inspiring daughters.
I have lived on the coast since 1998 when I came for a brief holiday to visit my mother who had relocated here.
A holiday romance turned into a full life of amazing ups and strengthening downs, resulting in a now divorced exhusband, 3 kids, two dogs, one cat and a permanent connection to the Sunshine Coast.
One thing I have always felt very strongly about while living in this growing community is that the Arts need more promotion and accessibility, especially for its youth.
Proudly I plan to implement my vision of creating a dynamic space named TIN CANVAS where the community, Young and Young at Heart can access the Visual Arts in a practical and fun way.
I am a qualified specialist Visual Art Teacher and Practicing Artist: painting -drawing -sculpture - print - collage - mural work – multi- media - wearable art - make-up and body painting - photography - graphic art.
